Compatibility and Printing Requirements

Printer Compatibility:

  • Fully compatible with LCD and DLP 3D printers

  • Not Required – prints are ready after alcohol cleaning and air drying

Recommended Settings for Monochrome LCD Printers:

  • Layer Height: 0.03 mm
  • Bottom Layers: 10 layers
  • Bottom Exposure: 30 sec
  • Layer Exposure: 8.5 sec
  • Rest Time: 1 sec
  • Bottom Speed: 50 mm/min
  • Normal Speed: 150 mm/min

How to Prepare and Use BlueCast X-WAX

Before Printing:

  • Warm the resin bottle to 30–40°C for 5 minutes
  • Shake well for 1 minute to ensure even mixing
  • Use PFA film (≤127μm) or ACF film for tilt-vat printers
  • Maintain ambient temperature between 25°C and 35°C
  • Use a heated resin tank or chamber if available

Post-Processing (No UV Required):

  1. Wash in IPA alcohol for 5 minutes
  2. Blow dry with compressed air
  3. Second IPA wash for 3 minutes
  4. Final air dry
  5. Let prints rest for 15–20 minutes before treeing

Tip: For stubborn residue, use ultrasonic cleaning at 40°C with IPA for 10 minutes.

  • Ramp: 0°C → 150°C (Hold 2 hrs)
  • Ramp: 150°C → 450°C (Hold 2 hrs)
  • Ramp: 450°C → 700°C (Hold 3 hrs)
  • Cool to casting temp

Fast Cycle:

  • Ramp: 0°C → 720°C (Hold 2 hrs)
  • Cool to casting temp
